Serino Cigar Co. has created a cigar thanks to a love story. Originally, the cigar was made for a close family friends’ foreign destination wedding. At the wedding, the Serino family featured ‘The Passport’ vitola as the size for the occaison. After the tremendously positive response from the celebration, they decided to recapture the magic by making the cigar a full production line.
The Expat uses an Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper with an exposed Nicaraguan Criollo 98 binder from Jalapa. The ciga is rounded our with fillers consisting of Nicaraguan Criollo 98 from Esteli, Corojo 99 from Jalapa and Pennsylvania broadleaf.
The result is a cigar that delivers notes of cacao, raisins, coffee, and cinnamon.
