In the summer of 2022, HVC Cigars opened up their own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua called Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. de Reinier Lorenzo however they still get their tobacco from Aganorsa Leaf so the same great flavor profile HVC is known for still exists.
Selección No. 1. is the first brand from the new factory and it is available in three sizes in two different wrappers.
The original utilizes a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua which results in a full bodied cigar that delivers notes of mocha, espresso, earth and a slightly spicy finish.
The second release referred to as the Natural and it features a Habano wrapper over the same binder and fillers. The medum-full bodied smoke sees notes of graham cracker, rye, coffee and earth with minimal spice on the finish.
